Our projects

Swan Hill Solar Farm

One of Victoria’s highest capacity solar farms, delivering 19MW of clean energy to more to 6,000 Australian homes from Swan Hill.

Australian Solar Group developed the Swan Hill Solar Farm in 2018 about 3.5 km west of Swan Hill in Northwest Victoria.

With approximately 53,000 panels mounted on a single axis tracking system, the project created more than 59 jobs to the region during construction and will generate more than 60 jobs during the solar farms operations.

  • Funded and owned by Impact Investment Group (IIG)

  • Engineering, procurement, and construction - RCR Tomlinson Ltd.

Wangaratta Solar Farm

Delivering 70 GWh of clean energy into the Glenrowan substation, the 40MW solar farm will service more than 5,000 customers.

Australian Solar Group co-developed the Wangaratta Solar Farm just outside of Wangaratta, northeast Victoria.

After co-developing the project through to engineering, procurement and construction, the solar farm was purchased by CleanPeak in 2022 with construction expected to be complete in 2024.

Dysart Solar Farm

Located in the northern Queensland town on Dysart, this large 135MW project was co-developed with Sun Farms Australia.

Dysart Solar Farm was co-developed with another developer, and is still currently under development.

Project pipeline

Australian Solar Group is a boutique developer that works on a small number of very targeted projects at one time.

Australia has the highest solar radiation of any continent, making an attractive market for large scale solar generation.

We’re investigating market opportunities in Gippsland, Victoria and across Australia.

In all our project developments, storage opportunities is considered, based on a ‘value to and from the network’ basis.
